Here at Emerald & Wax, we take the art of producing slow fashion to heart. Made to order is one of the ways we make sure that we are not over producing and that we take the time to make your order from scratch just for you. We hope that you'll agree that it will be worth the wait because beautiful things take time.

So since all of Emerald and Wax's products are handmade to order, we require approximately two to three weeks in order to fulfill your order. However we will make every attempt to get your beautiful handmade item to you as quickly as we can. Please email us if you have any concerns about how long your order will take to ship or if you would like to receive it by a particular date, for example, if it is a birthday present. We will inform you once your product is ready to ship.

For most items, we offer both standard and tracked shipping options through the Irish Post Office (An Post). We are currently offering FREE STANDARD shipping on orders of €100 and up delivered within the island of Ireland. In general, tracked post can be a tad bit pricier than standard but it does keep An Post on it’s toes! The only real thing to worry about is wearing out the soles of your shoes while you wait for your item to be delivered.
We have had to modify our shipping policy due to BREXIT, as follows:

We continue to ship to Northern Ireland due to its dual EU/UK status
However, regrettably, we are currently unable to ship to the remainder of the UK while we work out the wider implications of BREXIT.

You can return eligible items purchased online within 21 days of the purchase date. Unfortunately we cannot offer a refund if the returned merchandise does not meet our requirements, see below, or is returned after 21 days since the date of your purchase.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

However we do hope that you love your Emerald & Wax purchase. Much love and every effort is taken to deliver a quality handmade item, but if for any reason you are not bowled over, then we will do our best to make things right.

To return an item;

Your return will be processed as soon as possible.

If you are returning any items worth over €100, please consider using a trackable shipping service. We will notify you when we have received your returned item. Please note that return postage costs will not be refunded.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
